Going to the *Supermarkt* is an essential everyday task when staying in Germany or Austria. This roleplay teaches you how to ask a store employee for specific items, find the right aisle, and handle the checkout process smoothly.
In a German supermarket, an aisle is called "der Gang". When you reach the checkout, the cashier will almost always ask two things: if you have a loyalty card ("eine Kundenkarte") and if you need a bag ("eine Tüte"). Germans are very eco-conscious, so bringing your own reusable bag (die Tasche) is highly recommended!
