An aisle in a French supermarket is called "l'allée" or "le rayon". At the checkout (*la caisse*), cashiers will ask if you have a "carte de fidélité" (loyalty card). If you need a shopping bag, you ask for "un sac". In France, single-use plastic bags are banned, so people typically bring their own reusable bags (*un cabas*).
