Whether shopping in a Parisian boutique or strolling through a mall in Lyon, knowing how to shop for clothes in French is extremely useful. This roleplay guides you through selecting an item, finding the fitting rooms, and completing your purchase.
In French, to try something on, you use the verb "essayer" ("Puis-je l'essayer ?" - Can I try it on?). The fitting rooms are called "les cabines" (or *les cabines d'essayage*). When you want to know if a piece of clothing looks good on you, you can ask: "Est-ce que ça me va bien ?" (Does it suit me well?).
